RE-CONTEXTUALISATION RATIONALE
In a location densely populated by other media, the Listen Carefully message aims to cut through the many layers.

Instead of adding to the media environment, we have used existing messages, to add meaning to our own.

The stencil, cut away, reveals layers of texture, colour and tone, and invites you to look closer.

ANALYSIS
While installing the buff stencil we encountered a great deal of animosity from passers by, the most extreme of which included having a number of full stubbies thrown at us from a passing car.

Located at an extremely high traffic area this location is seen by a wide audience, and on the night of installation, many displayed a high degree of disgust at our (destructive?) activities communicated
via the car horn.
